A Quiet Farewell – And the Story Behind It

I was tired. Empty inside. Quietly falling apart.

Then, one day, my mother placed a small stone in my hand. And everything began to change.

Today, I sit in my home studio in the United States, where I've been crafting each individual piece of moonstone jewelry by hand for years—slowly, carefully, and with quiet devotion. But my journey began long before I ever picked up a tool.

In My Studio in the Australia – This Is Where My Silent Companions Have Been Created for Years.

I was the quiet girl with stone pockets.

Even as a child, growing up in a small town in the United States, I felt drawn to the sky—especially at night. Not just to the stars, but to the moon. That gentle glow that never had to be the brightest to still be seen. I would lie for hours in my grandparents' garden, gazing at it, feeling its light in places inside me that had no name.

I was sensitive. Quiet. I felt everything deeply.

While the other children climbed trees and laughed, I collected stones—little treasures that helped me feel safe when the world got too loud.

A Quiet Moment from My Childhood – Where Collecting Stones Meant Refuge.

At home, we didn’t talk much about feelings. We just kept going. Stayed strong.

But I was often afraid—like I had to be perfect just to be safe.

This feeling stayed with me into adulthood.

I always noticed what others overlooked.

Stones gave me comfort when words failed.

In my twenties and thirties, I did everything "right." A secure job. A long-term relationship. A life that looked good on paper.

But inside, I felt alienated—like I was playing a role in someone else’s story.

At 33, I had a breakdown.

Emotionally exhausted. Burned out. Doubting everything.

My parents noticed—especially my mother.

She was never good with words, but one day she placed a small box in my hands. Inside lay a stone, pale and shining like moonlight.

A moonstone.

"We saw it in a shop," she said. "It reminded us of you."

The Moment That Changed Everything – A Silent Gift That Brought Light.

A quiet new beginning—carried by a stone that allowed me to breathe again.

At that time, I didn’t know that this stone would change my life.

That night, I placed it on my bedside table. For the first time in months, I slept deeply. Later, I wore it around my neck—quietly, just for me.

It became a silent reminder:

  • To slow down.
  • To breathe.
  • To hold my own hand when I needed it most.

When I read its meaning, I learned that moonstone is considered a stone of new beginnings

it supports emotion, intuition, transformation, and inner peace.

And that’s exactly what I needed.

I stopped trying to fix myself.

I began to understand myself.

I realized that my sensitivity wasn’t a flaw— it was a strength I was never taught to trust.

At 38, I began making small pieces of jewelry.

Not for sale. Just for myself. For friends. In the quiet moments after work—soft music, a warm cup of tea, moonstones on the table.

It was never about business. It was about breathing.

About finding myself again.

My sacred place – tea, moonlight and hands that silently create.

Made by Hand, from the Heart – Carried by Light and Memory.

What began as a private ritual slowly became a calling.

Handmade. From the heart. Guided by memory and meaning.

One day, I made a moonstone bracelet for a dear friend who had lost her baby.

When she opened the box, she cried. Not because it was beautiful—

but because she felt seen. Understood.

This moment stays with me to this day.

Today, I am 70. I still make every piece by hand in my home in the United States. My studio is simple: a wooden table, a window filled with light, and a quiet notebook full of stories like my own.

The moonstone is still at the center of everything.

Because for me, it was never just a gemstone.

It is a memory.

That healing can be quiet.

That gentleness is strength.

That the light remains within us –even when we forget it's there.

After many quiet, fulfilling years, I feel: It's time to let go.

I’m retiring and closing my shop this weekend.

I make this decision with peace. With tenderness. With deep gratitude.

I won't be creating any new collections.

What remains now are the final pieces—silent companions for all those who have gone

through their own dark night, who are learning to listen within again, who are ready to remember themselves.

These final pieces aren’t the end.

They’re a quiet farewell—each one carries the same spirit with which it all began.

Each Piece is Crafted to Support Calm, Clarity, and New Beginnings.

My last moonstone pieces are available until the end of this weekend.

After that, I’ll finish my work. Each piece is handmade, created with heartfelt care and deep love.

From the heart,
